Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have — in plain English.

Who we are
CallTrace is operated by Zayn Productions Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 16892199), 1 Alvin Street, Gloucester GL1 3EJ. For data collected through this website and for our own business records, we are the data controller. Contact: hello@calltrace.co.uk.
For call recordings, transcripts and caller data processed on behalf of our clients (the firms who use CallTrace), the client is the controller and we act as their processor under a data processing agreement. Our compliance page describes that processing in detail.
What we collect on this website
If you use the demo-call form we collect your name (optional) and phone number, plus your IP address for rate-limiting. We use these to place the one demonstration call you asked for. Demo calls are recorded and transcribed — that is the product being demonstrated — and we tell you so on the call.
If you ring our advertised number, the call is recorded, transcribed and AI-scored by CallTrace itself, and we say so when we answer. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
This website does not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share personal data for marketing.
Lawful bases
Demo calls: your consent, given by ticking the consent box (you can withdraw it by asking us to delete the recording). Enquiries and correspondence: legitimate interests in responding to you. Client account data: performance of a contract. Financial records: legal obligation.
Who we share data with
Our sub-processors, only as needed to run the service: Twilio (telephony and call recording), Deepgram (transcription), Anthropic (AI analysis), Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database) and Stripe (payments — card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems). Some of these providers process data in the United States under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only where the law requires.
Retention
Demo-call recordings and enquiry details are kept while relevant to the enquiry and deleted on request. Client call data is retained per each client’s configured retention policy. Accounting records are kept for the periods UK law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email hello@calltrace.co.uk and we will respond within one calendar month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
If you were recorded calling one of our clients, the client is the controller — contact them, or contact us and we will pass your request on and assist with it.
